“Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”(Psalm 37:4, ESV)

That word “delight” actually means “to make soft and pliable.” It gives the picture of clay in the hands of the Potter. God wants us to be flexible with Him and allow Him to mold us and make us into His image. That’s when He can use you and that’s when He will give you the desires of your heart!

I hope you enjoy and share this as it was shared with me.

God Bless & have FAITH in all you do!

Nothing Wasted

“After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, ‘Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.’ ”(John 6:12, NLT)

God is still in the miracle-working business. He is still our Creator and He is a Restorer. If you’ve felt like you’ve wasted years of your life in the wrong job, hanging around the wrong people, doing the wrong things, God will gather those years and restore them back to you. He’ll take those experiences that the enemy meant for your harm, and He’ll turn them around for your good. He’ll make you stronger, wiser, and better off than you were before. He can launch you further into your destiny than before. Be encouraged today because with God all things are possible and nothing is ever wasted!

I hope this encorages you as it has me. May you continue to strive for your goals and dreams ….. have FAITH in ALL you do!

Still Standing

“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” (Psalm 40:2, NIV)

All of us can look back at things that should have defeated us. Maybe a divorce or bad break should have taken you down, but look — you’re still standing! That addiction that partying lifestyle should have killed you, but because of a praying loved one, you’re still standing and becoming freer. Or, maybe you lost a loved one. You didn’t think you could go on. You thought you’d seen your best days, but God breathed new life into you. He lifted you out of the pit and put a new song in your heart, and here you are today, still standing.

The message above was sent to me, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

                         Move Forward

image

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18–19, ESV)

Move forward and you’ll come into a new beginning. Nothing that has happened to you is a surprise to God. The loss of that loved one didn’t catch God off guard. The business that didn’t make it, the relationship that didn’t work out did not stop God’s plan for your life.
Now, the real question is: are you going to get stuck, fall into self-pity, become bitter, let the past poison your future? Or, are you going to shake it off and move forward knowing that your best days are still up ahead?

I am uncertain who wrote this but I wanted to share this and encourage you as it has encouraged me.

May today be great and tomorrow even greater!

Be Great in the Midst of Criticism

“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.”(Matthew 5:44)

Remember, your destiny is too great to be distracted by people who are never going to affirm you. Don’t take it personally. It’s not about you. It’s their problem. Shake it off, run your race, and be great anyway.

Having greatness in the midst of criticism begins with forgiveness. Don’t hold a grudge. Bless those who curse you; pray for those who spitefully use you. As you keep doing what is right, God will honor you. He’ll promote you, and you’ll be great in the midst of criticism!

I did not write these wonderful words of encouragement but I can share them and hope that they are a blessing to you.

In your family life don’t become content nor complacent. Knowledge IS Power! Terri D. Goldson

There is one word that can destroy all families and that word is content. C-O-N-T-E-N-T! Content as in comfortable or relaxed.

Being content is our Community’s fundamental flaw. One achievement and we believe we have arrived. One set back and we are no longer willing to make an effort. Whether it’s people, money or jobs we have a tendency to forget good or bad it is just one outcome of one day of what we hope will be a long life.

This shortsightedness leads to contentment. Contentment causes us to treat life as a destination rather than what it truly is – a journey.

Life is not about being content. Life is not static, fixed or unchanging. Life is not about what you undertook yesterday.

Life is about action. Life is about today and how you plan to improve upon tomorrow, if you are blessed with a tomorrow. Life is…
